On Wednesday, young entrepreneurs gathered at a special cocktail event in New South Wales’ Parliament House, supporting Children's Medical Research Institute (CMRI). It is our pleasure to be part of this great cause.
The evening was an opportunity to network and learn about the institute’s world-leading research on serious diseases in children. The event was strongly supported by prominent members of the Asian community.
Speaker of the NSW Legislative Assembly, The Hon. Shelley Hancock MP hosted the event. Guests heard from CMRI Director, Professor Roger Reddel and Deputy Director, Professor Patrick Ping Leung Tam. CMRI’s Head of Strategic Partnerships and Building Foundation Executive, Ms Virginia Judge, spoked about the importance of enabling and supporting the vital work of CMRI researchers and thanked attendees for their strong support.
HOME789 has been continuously supporting CMRI’s work. Since 2015, HOME789 CEO Walton Chu has donated AUD$7,890 to CMRI. We understand that supporting the work of CMRI is vital for improving the health of current and future generations of children with serious medical conditions.
